Vanessa Amorosi - LIVE at the Lion!

What a great gig from the multi-talented and gorgeous Vanessa Amorosi - 27 July 2008 - 

The TRAK centre venue is a really nice room…. good bar placement, great auditorium style space with good acoustics and excellent viewing for 95% of the patrons… (Apparently it used to be “Silvers Disco”)

This was a fantastic show with a great mix of her old favorites and songs from her new album…  and a few classic versions thrown into the mix.  

A great way to kick off her new album / tour - if I had another hand, I would give it 3 thumbs up!

James Reyne with Mark Seymour at the Corner Hotel!

Well it was another rocking night at “The Corner” which is fast becoming my favorite haunt for shooting rock photos…

The two artists, Aussie rock icons, legends of pub rock, call them what you will…. gave a great performance to the largely over 30’s crowd.

James Reyne (Australian Crawl) and Mark Seymour (Hunters & Collectors) both belted out new songs and old hits and crowd favorites. … although there was the usual chorus of “why didn’t he play….. fill in the personal favorite …. ?” But if the boys did play all the requested favorites… we would still be there.. !!!
