Zappa Plays Zappa

Tonight was a very special gig…. Dweezil Zappa playing the music of his father, Frank.  Special guests, original guitarist, Stevie Vai, and singer Ray White.       I took my little camera along to see if there was any chance to get a couple o happy snaps… LOL… little… pffft!

Lifeline benefit gig…

I went to a Lifeline benefit gig last night… The Basics were the headline act.. great little 3 piece band with ARIA award winner Wally de Backer on drums.  They have a tight sound and obviously had a lot of fun up on stage… click that linkage and check out their myspace page.  Anya (Thanks for the e-mail)  organized the gig and the profits go to a very worthy cause…  The Northcote Social Club was the venue and as you can see from the attached pix.. it was a hot and sweaty night..
